Established in 1947, Apparel Production has been a leading garment manufacturer in New York City’s Garment District for over 75 years. Family owned and operated by the Sadaka’s since its inception, this feature in the New Yorker introduces you to the CEO, Teddy Sadaka, and his sister, Karen Sadaka, that continue to build on the family’s legacy.
FACT: In 1972, Gladys Sadaka, our founder, assisted Calvin Klein and Barry Schwarz in creating their very first fashion collection in a small factory located on 18th Street in New York City. In gratitude, they sent her a bouquet of flowers as thanks.
